Basic Chaffle
If you are craving a sandwich while following Keto and can’t find a good low carb bread, try this Chaffle recipe and enjoy that sandwich!
Serving Size: 1 Chaffle
Ingredients:
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions:
- Preheat a mini waffle maker & spray with oil.
- In a bowl whisk the egg until beaten.
- Add shredded cheese & salt to the egg then mix well.
- Scoop half the mixture on the waffle maker, spread evenly.
- Cook 3 to 4 minutes until crisp.
- Pull it off & let cool.
- Add the rest of the batter & cook the second chaffle until crisp.
- Build your favorite sandwich!
